There's lots to do at the Zoo – ZOOM (behind the scenes tours), daily keeper encounters, safari nights and more!

ZOOM is an exciting family of tours offering a backstage pass to the Zoo, and an exclusive opportunity to get up close and learn about some of the world's most beautiful and endangered creatures.

Every day, Zoo encounters, presented by our Zoo keepers, give you the opportunity to come 'eye to eye' with some amazing animals

Safari Nights at Auckland Zoo is your chance to see your favourite animals in a whole new light. Whether you sleep over, stay for a barbecue, or just experience the guided night walk, we promise you a night to remember!

The Zoo also runs walking tours, golf cart tours and Safari train tours

45 minute guided tours: 10am, 11am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm daily – Please enquire at the Information Centre for availability or to book.

Golf Cart Tours:
1.5 hours, $10 per person – Please enquire at the Information Centre for availability or to book.

Safari Train tours:
$3 per person. There is no need to pre-book, just check running times at train stop near Darwin's Cafe.
